The Bugaku Renmei offers certifications in the Sub Arts of Ryukyu Karate. We have certification in Martial Concept, Tuidi-jutsu, and Kyusho-jutsu.

Martial Science Certification Requirements
Phase One = Assistant Instructor, Equivalent to the Classical Rank Okuden
A minimum of 150 lessons to take exam
Basic understanding and applied knowledge of TCM and related sciences.
Active member of Bugaku Renmei for a minimum of 1 year.
Actively assists in classes/seminars on this field.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Minimum rank of shodan or equivalent (must not be self-promoted or affiliated).
Trains directly under a Phase three level instructor or higher.
Minimum 4 years martial arts training.
Complete any written, oral and/or physical demonstration, etc. as specified by the Renmei.
Phase Two = Associate Instructor , Equivalent to the Classical Rank Mokuroku 3 year after Okuden
Complete understanding and application of TCM and related science.
Active member of the Bugaku Renmei for a minimum of 4 years.
Actively assists and/or conducts classes and/or seminars on this field.
Minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum rank of 2nd Black or equivalent (must not be self-promoted or affiliated).
Trains directly under a Senior level instructor or higher.
Minimum 7 years martial arts training.
Must be sponsored by a Renmei Phase four level instructor or higher other than personal instructor.
Complete any written, oral and/or physical demonstrations, as specified by the Bugaku Renmei. And basic ability to apply to other systems etc.
Phase Three = Full Instructor, Equivalent to the Classical Rank Menkyo
4 Year after Mokuroku
Advanced understanding and application of TCM and related sciences.
Active member of Bugaku Renmei for a minimum of 8 years.
Actively assists and/or conducts classes and/or seminars on this field.
Contributes to the growth of the Bugaku Renmei , attends Renmei seminars / national conventions.
Minimum 25 years of age.
Minimum rank of 4th Dan Black belt or equivalent (must not be self-promoted or affiliated).
Minimum 12 years martial arts training.
Ability to apply to other systems.
Must be sponsored by a Kaicho.
Complete any written, oral and/or physical demonstrations, etc. as specified by the Bugaku Renmei. Through ability to apply to other systems.
Phase Four = Master Instructor, Equivalent to the Classical Rank Menkyo Kaiden
Superior understanding and application of TCM and related sciences.
Active member of the Bugaku Renmei for a minimum of 15 years.
Actively assists and/or conducts classes and/or seminars on this field.
Contributes to the growth of Bugaku Renmei, attends national conventions.
Minimum 35 years of age.
Minimum rank of 6th Black or equivalent (must not be self-promoted or affiliated) .
Minimum 20 years martial arts training.
Ability to apply to other systems.
Trains directly under Kaicho Morales.
Must be sponsored by the Kaicho and Board of Advisors.
Superior Ability to apply to other systems.
Complete any written, oral and/or physical demonstrations, etc. as specified by the A Bugaku Renmei. Through ability to apply to other systems.
Authored papers, magazine articles, produced video tapes, etc.
The Master instructors will be required to posses the ability to better define the intricate sciences, principles and concepts of TCM as they relate to the martial arts. These principles will include, but are not limited to;
