The Bugaku Renmei was born out of an overwhelming interest in the Sub Arts of Classical Karate. The term "Sub Arts" is a term that The Founder of the Bugaku Renmei uses to describe the components of Classical Karate. Much of the knowledge contained in the Classical styles of Okinawa Karate is still unknown to many serious martial artists. Fortunately, due to certain masters who were willing to share their knowledge in order to preserve the Art's ancient teaching, the true natures of the ancient Okinawan Arts are slowly coming to light. With all this in mind, the The Bugaku Renmei was established to preserve the original combative nature and Bushi spirit of Okinawa's ancient martial arts.
